Lev-UPS™ Strip Uninterruptible Power Supplies

Leviton's new Lev-UPS™ Strip models offer the latest UPS technology available at an affordable price, making them ideal for home and less critical office equipment applications. These Strips are off-line (standby) units, only supplying battery power once a preset utility voltage level is breached. After normal power is restored, the unit transfers back to utility power. Transfer to and from battery power takes place in less than 1/2 cycle (0.008 seconds); fast enough to prevent most loads from ever being affected by this transition.

Lev-UPS™ Sine 1000 & 1500VA Line Interactive Models

Leviton's new Lev-UPS™ Sine Models provide back-up power to computers and workstations, data and telecom centers, industrial and commercial controls, lighting and other loads. These models provide a pure sine wave output, essential for all critical applications. In any application where extended run-times are required, a UPS with a non-sinusoidal waveform output will cause overheating in the protected equipment. The Sine UPS models are ideal for these applications as well any application where equipment relies on a 60 Hz sine wave for timing and tracking functions. 3800 Series Equipment-Cabinet Surge Protective Devices

The 3800-DIN devices are designed for mounting in standard equipment cabinets where transient voltage surge suppression is desired for the enclosed equipment. The MOV-based circuit design of each module provides Normal Mode and Common Mode protection for line to neutral, line to ground and neutral to ground. The 3800 modules feature compact "black box" styling. Specifications:

5500 Series 19-Inch Rack-Mount Surge Protective Devices (SPD)

Leviton's 5500 Series devices are designed for mounting on 19-inch racks where transient voltage surge suppression is desired for rack-mounted electronic equipment. The 5500 series is designed for use on AC power lines. These devices have been tested to ANSI/IEEE C62.41 standards for Categories A and B environments, and are backed by Leviton's Lifetime Limited Downline Warranty.

12 protected outlets, 10 in back and two in front
Advanced circuit design offers extremely tight clamping levels and exceptional noise attenuation.
Each receptacle provides Normal Mode (L-N) and Common Mode (L-G, N-G) protection.
Each unit is provided with an on/off rocker switch (except 5500-15N & 5500-20-N), power, protection and outlet polarity/ground status LED diagnostics, a resettable overload circuit breaker and a 12 foot power supply cord.
The unit will continue to provide power in the event that protection is lost.
Models 5500-15N & 5500-20N come without the ON/OFF switch to prevents accidental switching of electronic equipment.

42000 Series Multi-Phase Panel Protectors

Leviton's 42000 Series Panel Protectors is designed for installation in industrial and commercial facilities at service entrance or branch panels. All models protect against high-energy, high-voltage transient surges.

TYPICAL SPECIFICATION

The 42000 Series is designed for use where a multi-phase, transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS) is specified. Its parallel-operated design features 40mm-diameter, metal-oxide varistors and EMI/RFI filter circuitry equipped with high-voltage-rise capacitors for harmonic tolerance. It incorporates indicator lights and an audible alarm for monitoring power and surge suppression status as well as a dry contact for remote monitoring. Three-phase units are suitable for both WYE and DELTA AC power systems.
The 42000 has been tested to ANSI/IEEE C62.41 standards for Category A, B and C environments and is UL 1449 (2nd Edition) Listed. It is also backed by Leviton’s Limited Ten-Year Warranty.
